Alarm Registration

The KPD offers an Alarm Registration form (certificate) for all persons/businesses who have an alarm within the City of Kankakee. We ask this form to be completed at the time of installation and returned to us. There is a $10.00 one time fee, with no monthly or annual fee.

THIS IS NOT A MONITORING FEE OR SERVICE.

The purpose of the form is for us to have an emergency contact list should the alarm activate and we respond to the location of the alarm. This way we can confirm the correct person is on premises, or to contact a key holder should one be needed.

A copy of the form is attached here. Please print, complete and return the form to us at our Records Department located on the main floor of the Public Safety Center, 385 E. Oak Street, Kankakee, IL. 60901. We will keep a copy here and send one to our communications center so they have your information on file should one of our Officers respond.
